Rules and Regulations
Participating in the "Do You Know" (DYK) International Campaign 2026 requires adherence to specific guidelines to ensure that all musical & song submissions are appropriate and respectful. Below is a comprehensive outline of the rules and regulations:
Important Note: All participants are required to sign up on our DYK Member Portal before submitting their original video for official review (You can access the campaign submission from at the DYK member portal). Only after approval will you be granted permission to link it live on our official campaign website and Accelglo-DYK’s social media, where your creation will be shared with a global audience.
Eligibility:
Open to individuals, teams, and organizations globally.
All ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome.
A. Campaign Guidelines
Themes of Participation
Participants are encouraged to compose and submit original music under the following categories:
1. Exploration & Discovery – Songs that capture the essence of curiosity and the search for knowledge.
2.The Unknown & Beyond – Experimental compositions that push creative and musical boundaries.
3. Knowledge & Connection – Music that bridges cultures, ideas, and new ways of understanding.
4. Innovation & Sound Design – Unique instrumental or electronic compositions inspired by discovery.
B. Content Guidelines:
1.Avoidance of Sensitive Topics: Submissions must not contain content that could be considered offensive or insensitive, including but not limited to:
2. Racial Content: Any material that could be perceived as discriminatory or offensive towards any race.
3. Sexual Content: Explicit or suggestive sexual material is strictly prohibited.
4. Religious Content: Content that promotes or disparages any religion or religious beliefs is not allowed.
5. Political Content: Material endorsing or opposing political parties, figures, or ideologies should be avoided.
6. Gender Content: Content that could be seen as discriminatory based on gender is not permitted.
7 .Other Sensitive Topics: Any other content that could be considered offensive or controversial should be excluded.
8. Right of Rejection: The organizers reserve the right to reject any video submission that contains sensitive or inappropriate content.
C. Technical Specifications:
1 .Language: All videos must include verbal narration in English.
2 .Format: Acceptable video format is in mp4, AVI, MOV
3. Length: The maximum length of the video should not exceed 7 minutes.
4. Size: The maximum file size allowed is 500 MB.
5. Resolution: Videos must be uploaded in High Definition (HD). The minimum accepted dimensions are 1280×720 (720p), with 1920×1080 (1080p) being preferred.
6. Frame Rate: The video should not exceed a maximum frame rate of 60 frames per second (FPS).
D. Submission Process:
1. Platform: It is recommended to upload the video using a Vimeo link.
2. Accessibility: Ensure that the video link is fully accessible and remains active for at least 3 months after submission.

5. Disclosure: Include any necessary disclosures, especially regarding conflicts of interest or commercial support.

10.Submission Guidelines:
1.Participants must submit an original composition inspired by the theme of curiosity and knowledge sharing.
2. Each submission should include:
a) Title and description (max 500 words)
b) Audio or video recording of the composition (MP3, WAV, or MP4 format)
c) Lyrics (if applicable) and a brief explanation of how the piece connects to the theme
3. Submissions can be in any language but must include an English translation of lyrics if plicable.
4. File formats for submissions:
1) Music: MP3, WAV
2) Video: MP4, AVI, MOV
3) Writing: PDF, DOC, DOCX
4) Art: JPG, PNG
E. Anonymity in Review:
Author Identification: Do not include the name(s) of the author(s) or any identifying information within the video to ensure a blinded review process.
F. Additional Considerations:
1. Generic Terminology: Use generic terms and avoid any evidence of commercial support within the narration.
2. Originality: Ensure that all content is original and does not infringe upon any copyrights or intellectual property rights.
3 .Permissions: Obtain necessary permissions for any third-party content, including music, images, or footage, used within the video.
4. By following these guidelines, participants can ensure that their submissions meet the standards set forth by the DYK International Campaign 2026.
F. Other Additional Terms
1. Ownership: The participant retains ownership of the submitted work but grants Accelglo-DYK a non-exclusive license to use, distribute, and display the work for promotional and educational purposes.
2. Originality: All submissions must be original and not violate any copyright or intellectual property rights.
3. Public Voting: Some entries will be open for public voting, and finalists will be selected based on both public votes and a judging panel.
4. Judging Criteria: Creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, and overall impact.
G. Important Note:
For this DYK campaign, we strongly encourage you to rely primarily on your own initiative and creativity. Please design and develop your project using your original ideas and effort. Use of AI tools and assistance should be limited and supplementary.
As a requirement, all participants must honestly and humbly declare the extent of AI assistance used in their project. This ensures fairness and transparency for all contestants in the campaign.
